Bass Guitar Lessons in Barcelona, now with Nat González

I’m happy to share some news from the studio: alongside drum lessons, you can now also learn electric bass guitar with Nat González, in the same space in Sant Adrià del Besòs, right across from Verneda Metro station (L2).

Who is Nat González

Nat has spent over two decades dedicated to music, starting out on guitar before shifting her focus, more than 20 years ago, to the bass guitar as her main instrument. She has performed at festivals such as FIB, Cruïlla and FIVECC, and has been part of several bands throughout her career — including Los Seis Días and, currently, Cap Quadrat — combining that stage experience with years of music teaching.

Her teaching style is personal and adapted to each student: there’s no single fixed method, each lesson is built around the student’s level, musical taste and goals. Whether you’ve never touched an instrument or you’re an experienced bass player looking to keep growing, the focus is always practical and centered on enjoying the instrument from day one.

Why we share the same space

The studio where I’ve been teaching drum lessons in Sant Adrià del Besòs for years will now also host Nat’s bass guitar lessons in Barcelona, during the time slots when I’m not teaching. This not only widens the available time slots for everyone, but also opens up an interesting possibility down the line: sharing the same space between a drum teacher and a bass guitar teacher makes it easier, over time, for students of one instrument to try the other, play together, or even build a band’s rhythm section without leaving the studio.

If you’re learning drums and have always been curious about bass guitar (or the other way around), that option is now right there.

How to get started

Just like me, Nat offers a completely free trial lesson so you can get to know the space, her method, and ask any questions before deciding whether to continue.
